Weeks 1–3: Core Data Protection Knowledge

• The 7 principles of GDPR and key data protection terminology
• Lawful basis for processing personal data
• Special category data
• Rights of data subjects
• Subject Access Requests (SARs)
• Personal data breaches and incident handling
• International data transfers
• Contracts (Data Sharing Agreements and Data Processing Agreements)
• Privacy by design and by default + training and awareness
• Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
• Records of Processing Activities (ROPA) and EIR
• Freedom of Information (FOI)

Week 4: Getting You Job Ready
• CV writing and professional positioning
• Job application support
• Interview preparation
• Mock interview sessions

Bespoke mock interviews will also be provided when you secure a real interview
